A workshop for researchers and REC members from all disciplines, to increase understanding and stimulate discussion about ethical issues arising from research that involves older people.
The sessions will consider how the concepts of capacity, vulnerability, sensitive areas and changes in the risk-benefit balance are considered by researchers and reviewed by research ethics committees, and how inclusive research may be achieved.
